Guiding young people to a brighter future

About

ABOUT us

Show me the Light aims to equip and empower young people by offering innovative mentoring sessions, tailored and catered to their specific needs. Show me the Light is comprised of a group of passionate mentors with the expertise and lived experiences to best support the young people of today. Show me the Light boasts nine years of experience in youth work and interventions across schools, youth charities and sports academies. Our goal is to positively shape young people in order to positively shape society.

We collaborate closely with parents, guardians, designated safeguarding leads, authority figures and  relevant organizations to help them understand and effectively support young people during difficult periods.

Show me the Light emphasizes that meaningful national change often begins at the grassroots level, advocating for the idea that local neighbourhoods and schools serve as vital breeding grounds for innovation and reform. By fostering community engagement and empowering educators, residents, and students, this approach highlights the importance of collective action and localized efforts in driving larger societal transformations, ultimately demonstrating that significant progress is achieved through the incremental changes made within communities

Show me the Light founder, Elijah Wöhner has a life mission that focuses on empowering young individuals from diverse backgrounds by deterring them from crime and anti-social behaviour, bridging the gap between youth and education, and helping them unlock their full potential. Through mentorship, advocacy, and community engagement, he strives to create a supportive environment that fosters personal growth and inspires positive choices among the youth.
